Again, China has a rapidly growing population and certain areas have suffered with air quality issues due to pollution. Projects like this will greatly improve their quality of life.

The Kurnool Ultra Mega Solar Project

It didn’t take long for this power plant to usurp the title of largest solar power plant in the world. The Kurnool Ultra Mega Solar Park, located in India, is large enough to produce 1GW of energy. It doesn’t look like India is done yet either. They continue to be a leader in renewable energy projects, and are on track to eventually replace their traditional energy grid.
